Pocket Peebles

01/2019 - Paris

In reference to the attachment we develop for everyday objects, I created geometric "stones" to carry in the pocket.

While in lithotherapy each type of stone has a specific power, these pocket pebbles are available in several materials such as clay, wood, resin, concrete.

Each pebble is carved by hand in a "natural" geometric shape. This process allowed me to check throughout the making that the pebble was pleasant to the touch an would not prick or scratch the thigh once in the pocket.

I made tarpaulin pockets, pant and jacket to present the stones.

Wood, ceramic, concrete, polyurethane resin, tarpaulin.
